1st day9 a.m. - meeting time with your guide and driver at the pier and continue sightseeing - overview tour, visiting the main sights of SPb with several photo stops. 10 a.m. - visit Peter and Paul Fortress - the birthplace of St-Petersburg and the burial place of Romanovs - ruling dynasty before revolution 11 a.m. - visit St.Isaac's cathedral - one of the main cathedrals famous for its rich decoration and fascinating story behind. 12.00 - lunch in downtown 1 p.m. - visit the Hermitage museum – the largest museum in Russia. They say: “… if you spend just one minute at each item in the Hermitage museum, you’ll need at least seven years” 4 p.m. - back to your ship/ lobby/ apartment 2nd day – outside the city9 a.m. - meet your guide and driver and depart to Pushkin - visit Catherine Palace and the Famous Amber Room, and have a walk in Catherine garden. 12.00 - lunch in one of the local cafes 1 p.m. - visit Pavlovsk and visit Grand Duke Paul's Palace 5 p.m. - back to your ship/ hotel/ apartment 3d day – outside the city9 a.m. - meeting time with your guide and driver at the pier and departure to Peterhof - marine residence of Russian tsars and tsarinas, Russian Versailles, opportunity to take a stroll around the gardens with fountains, I wouldn't suggest you to visit Big Palace but you can visit one of the small palaces in park area - Imperial Bath House for example - it is a lot of fun! 1 p.m. - back to the city (on you way you can do a metro tour) 2.30 - visit Church on Spilt Blood famous for its mosaics 4 p.m. - back to your ship/hotel/apartment The cost of this tour is 815 euro without entrance fees to the museums. It doesn’t include your lunch and souvenir shopping. |
